HEALTHY SMOOTHIESWEIGHT LOSS COOKBOOK
Smoothies are great to take as breakfast especially if you work very early
and have to rush out every morning.
They take between 5minutes to a maximum of 15 minutes to make and you
can do this in the morning and take with you to work.
If you are on a weight loss journey, smoothies can help you detox and lose
weight as well.
Also the smoothie drinks in this cookbook will help you overcome cravings
for fizzy and sugary drinks.
To make your smoothie, you will need a Blender or Juicer.
Personally, I use a Nutribullet, but you can use a normal blender too. This is
absolutely fine.
So join me as I take you through this journey of making your own
refreshing and delicious smoothie drinks.

INGREDIENT
Ÿ 1 medium sized lemon
Ÿ 1 Jug of drinking water (8-10 glasses)
PREPARATION:
Ÿ Slice lemon into two halves. Use the knife to
remove the seeds.
Ÿ Squeeze the lemon into the jug of water. Stir with
a spoon. Serve in a cup and drink throughout the
day.
LEMON WATER
NOTE: Drink with a straw or rinse your teeth after
drinking as lemon can degrade enamel of teeth.
Also note that Lemon water does not prevent you from
getting pregnant if you are trying to conceive.

INGREDIENT
Ÿ 1 handful of Ugu or Baby Spinach or
Ÿ 1-2 chopped apple (with seed removed)
Ÿ 1 medium diced banana
Ÿ 1/2 cucumber
Ÿ 4 ice cubes
Ÿ 1/2 cup water
PREPARATION
Put your already washed and prepared Ugu/Spinach,
apple, banana, cucumber in your blender cup.
Then add a little water to it and blend for 2-3 minutes
until it's very smooth.
Pour into a cup or bottle and serve with ice to give it a
refreshing cool taste.

INGREDIENT
Ÿ 3-4 cups diced water melon (remove the seed)
Ÿ 1 Orange (diced)
Ÿ 1 Banana (peeled)
PREPARATION
Ÿ Put your diced watermelon into the blender, then
add your orange and banana. There is no need to
add water as watermelon is very juicy.
Ÿ Then blend for 3-5 minutes until smooth. Serve
with Ice for a refreshing taste.

Ÿ 1 medium diced banana
Ÿ 1 cup diced mango
Ÿ ice cubes
Ÿ Plain Natural yoghurt (optional)
PREPARATION
Ÿ Put diced pineapple, banana, mango into a
blender. Then pour in half a cup of natural plain
yoghurt.
Ÿ Then blend this for 3-5 minutes until smooth.
Ÿ Serve with Ice cubes for a refreshing taste.

Ÿ Juice from 1 small lemon

Ÿ Ice cubes

processor. Add 1/2 water and the lemon juice.
Ÿ Then blend until smooth. Then serve with
icecubes.

Ÿ 1 banana (diced)
Ÿ 1 handful of washed spinach/ugwu
Ÿ Unsweetened Almond/Coconut Milk (Optional)
PREPARATION
Ÿ Put the mango, banana, ugwu into a blender. Add
Almond or Coconut milk (use water if you don't
have the two)
Ÿ Then blend for 4-5 minutes until it becomes very
smooth. Serve with ice or chilled.

Ÿ 2 tablespoon plain natural yoghurt
Ÿ 1/4 cup almond milk
PREPARATION
Ÿ Put your banana, oat, yoghurt and almond milk
into a blender and blend until smooth.
Ÿ Serve Chilled or with Icecubes.

Ÿ 1 orange peeled
Ÿ 1/2 cup of natural unsweetened yoghurt
Ÿ icecubes
PREPARATION
Ÿ Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend
until smooth.
Ÿ Pour into glasses and serve with ice.

Ÿ 1 banana (peeled)
Ÿ 1 Apple peeled and diced
Ÿ 1/2 medium diced watermelon (peeled)
Ÿ half size ripe avocado
PREPARATION
Ÿ Put your banana, apple and watermelon into your
blender. Then scoop the avocado puree into the
blender.
Ÿ Add a little water.
Ÿ Blend the mixture together until smooth. Serve
chilled.
