4 PROPOSED SYSTEM

5 WORKING PRINCIPLE

Here the security box is deactivated by the department whenthe service person informs that he/she has reached the pole withthe help of GPS locations.

If there may not be appropriate power supply (power fluctua-tions) or lamp damage, then the street light will not work which ismeasured by LDR 2 and system sends the information accordingly.

Finally, when the service person repairs the light, the street lightstarts working. This information is again sent to the departmentas an acknowledgement.compactable and we can also the supply ofthe USB of a normal system or mobile phone power supply adaptor.

In this application, the street light is operated at 5V, 0.12mA supplyso that the total power consumed will be in mW as shown in thefigure 7. As there is zero power drawn at the time of day i.e., thelight intensity is more which is indicated with LDR 1 in the abovefigure.
