Videoconferencing from Home Program

• Enables SMA faculty to conduct high-quality videoconferences with NUS and NTU from home

• What is required to join– Broadband Internet access from home, i.e. Comcast– A PC with Win XP or Win 2000– A PC-based personal videoconferencing unit such as ViaVideo or

ViGO• SMA’s loaner program

– A small number of ViGOs available for a 2-3 week trial• Technical support

– Installation documentation on the SMA website– Videoconferencing units to be self-installed– First line of support from SMA’s FLs, Molly and Peter– Second line of support from AMPS

Document Sharing

• Use of NetMeeting documented in the instructions

• Proven, familiar capability to share and annotate documents

• Whiteboarding functionality built-in with an electronic pen or with recommended writing tools– Demonstration
