Location of competition: Hala Tivoli, Celovška 25, 1000 Ljubljana ice rink is covered and heated, 60 x 30 m, capacity 6000 spectators, located 500 m from the center of Ljubljana The Hala Tivoli Ice Rink is at approx. 700 m walking distance from official M Hotel (two stations by bus).

Entries: »DRAGON TROPHY« Each National Figure Skating Federation associated in ISU, may enter

2 competitors 2 Men (Boys) and 2 Ladies (Girls) in Senior, Junior and

Advanced Novices categories. The Organizer reserves the right to

enter more competitors in each category. The number of competitors

could be reduced in case of too many entries on »first come first serve

basis«.

»TIVOLI CUP« Each Club (member of ISU Member Federation), may enter 2 competitors (2 Boys and 2 Girls) in each category. The Organizer reserves the right to enter more competitors in each category. The number of competitors could be reduced in case of too many entries on »first come first serve basis«. Entries should contain: name and surname of competitor, date of birth, category and title of music of his program. Only complete entries will be accepted. If the club would like to entry competitor in older category, this must be specify in entry form. If not, the competitor will be in the group according to the date of birth.

Deadline for entries: The entries should arrive to the Slovene Skating Union and to the

Organizer in copies, not later than on 5th January 2019. Late entries will be accepted only by special agreement between

Skating Club or National Federation (in case of DRAGON TROPHY) and Organizer.

GDRP Compliance: Each competitor is obliged to send to email of Organizer

[email protected] or [email protected] GDRP Compliance (Enclosure 1). In case the competitor is under age of 18, it should be signed by parents or legal representative.

Charges: »DRAGON TROPHY« a fee of 65 EUR is to be paid for each competitor. Entry fee should be paid till 20th January 2019 latest. Entry fee for “DRAGON TROPHY“ must be paid to the account of the Organizer. If cash payment will be done before the competition in the office of the organizer DKK Stanko Bloudek, than entry fee is 80 €. »TIVOLI CUP« a fee of 50 EUR is to be paid for each competitor. Entry fee for “TIVOLI CUP” should be paid to the account of Organizer or before the competition in office of the organizer DKK Stanko Bloudek.

Cancelation: Cancelation of the competitor entry, if any, has to be done till

31st January 2019.

For any latter cancellation the team leader of Federation or Club of competitor will be asked to pay the entry fee, or entry fee will not be returned (in case of entries for DRAGON TROPHY).

Judges: Each participating National Figure Skating Federation or Club should

nominate one International or ISU Judge for the »DRAGON TROPHY«, who will be able to judge one to two categories at the »TIVOLI CUP«, if needed. Clubs may nominate one, at least National Judge, just for the »TIVOLI CUP«. In case of too many nominated judges, the organizer will draw the panels of judges after the entries closing date and a written confirmation will immediately be sent to each federation/club.

Responsibilities: In accordance with the ISU Regulations, Rule 119, all participants act

on their own responsibility. The organizer will provide medical emergency aid during competition and practice.

Citizen / Residence requirements and Clearance Procedure:

In accordance with Rule 109 of ISU Regulations 2018 and ISU Communication 2030 or any update of it, all skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must produce an ISU Clearance Certificate. The local organizing committee has the right and obligation to check the personal identification documents of the athletes to determine whether they are allowed to compete, whether they are competing in the right category, etc. Without the documents, the athlete will be excluded from the competition. Before first draw, the passport or other Schengen valid document has to be present to the organizer.

Music: Music will be reproduced from CD player (normal speed) Audio CD-s

(not mp3) must be labeled clearly with the competitor's name, Club/National Federation and category in which the competitor is competing. Such labeled CD-s should be delivered to the organizer immediately after the arrival.

Judging System: For DRAGON TROPHY and TIVOLI CUP the ISU Judging System will

be used. Expenses: The full board hotel accommodation (M Hotel) for the Referees,

Judges, Technical Controllers and Specialists will be arranged and born by the organizer from the dinner on Wednesday, February 06, till the breakfast on Monday, February 11, 2019. Travel costs for Referees and Judges are to be born by the club or the respective National Federation. The Organizer will not be able to cover any expense for competitors, team leaders and coaches.


Transportation: Each member and club itself regulates the carriage from and to the

JUNIOR Men and Ladies: Requirements according to the ISU Regulations & Technical Rules Single & Pair skating 2018 and the respective ISU Communications. Short Program: The required elements to be skated are those listed in ISU Technical

Rules Single & Pair Skating 2018 Rule 611, paragraphs 1 and 3 for

2018/19.

II. »TIVOLI CUP«

INTERMIDIATE NOVICE Boys and Girls: born from 1.7.2003 and younger. Requirements according to the ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating 2018, ISU Communication 2172 and all respective ISU Communications. Free Skating: Duration: 3 min, +\- 10 sec BASIC NOVICE Boys and Girls: born from 1.7.2005 and younger. Requirements according to the ISU Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating 2018, ISU Communication 2172 and all respective ISU Communications. Free Skating: Duration: 2 min 30 sec, +/- 10 sec CUBS Boys and Girls: born from 1.7.2008 – 30.6.2010. Free Skating: Duration: 2 min, +/- 10 sec A well balanced CUBS Free Skating Program must contain: a) Maximum of 4 jump elements for Girls and Boys, one of which must be an Axel type jump.

There may be up to two (2) jump combinations or sequences. Jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. Triple jumps are not permitted. Any single or double jump (including Double Axel) cannot be executed more than twice in total.

b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation), one of which must be a spin combination with or without change of foot (minimum of six (6) revolutions in total) and one spin with no change of position and with or without change of foot (minimum of six (6) revolutions in total). Flying entry is allowed.

c) There must be a maximum:

for Girls one (1) Choreographic sequence which includes at least one 3 seconds long spiral position. The sequence will have a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only.

for Boys maximum of one (1) step sequence with a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only.

Level explanation: For Cubs in all elements which, are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 2 will be counted. Any additional features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the Technical Panel. The Program Components are only judged in: - Skating Skills - Performance The factor of the Program Components is 2.5
