Letter of Explanation:

1198 Watervale Ct. Pasadena, MD 21122 (Permit B02367093)

To Construct 29' xl6' inground swimming pool with 6' spa. Pool is to beapproximately 83' from closest rear water line on property and 145'0" along rearof property facing the water. Pool will not past existing composite deck on rear ofhome, which extends 12' past the home foundation towards the water. ProposedPool is to be 15' from right property line (Henry Simms Jr. Trustee), 93'4" fromSeptic tank, 10'5" from Well, 10' within the BRL Line, 125' from left property (TarCove Corp. ) Pool will not be in flood zone and 12' above water line. Total propertysq. ft. is 40, 510. 8 or .93 acre. Property is very irregularly shaped, and theproposed placement is the only viable place to construct pool.

In my neighborhood on Watervale Ct. I have 2 neighbors; one within 299 ft (1202Watervale ct. ) of the front of my home and another 231 ft (1201 Watervale Ct.)from the front of my home who have pools. 1201 Watervale Ct. pool is less than75 ft from the water. Nearly every home in my community has a pool within the200ft buffer zone. Proceeding to follow the shoreline around Rock Creek; Homesoff Bar harbor road (within . 53 Miles) also have pools located with 48ft from theshoreline.

I bought the home In September 25, 2018. In doing research I found that therewas an existing pool located on this property and it appears the previoushomeowner did not pull permits to construct this pool. On 5/17/2011 a permit(B02276476) was filled to demo an existing pool. Furthermore; this shows theproperty can withstand a pool. Using Eagleview technologies I have photographicproof of a pool on this property showing full pool construction 12/4/2009. Thispool construction was much closer to the shoreline and I do not want to put thepool any farther than the existing deck on the home.

In conclusion I feel denying my home the ability to install a inground pooldevalues my property, as other homes in my community and around mycommunity already have pools installed.
