SkillsUSA Maryland 2020 State Championship The SkillsUSA Maryland State Championship provides an opportunity for more than 1,000 Career and Technical Education (CTE) high school students from across the state to showcase leadership and technical skills in a wide variety of program-aligned competitions. Students work and prepare diligently to participate in this exciting conference with the goal of receiving top honors in their respective competitions. Although every student benefits from participating in real-life, applied learning experiences, gold medal winners earn the additional honor of representing Maryland at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference later in the summer where 6,000 CTE students from across the country compete for national honors. The SkillsUSA Maryland State Championship provides an opportunity for more than 1,000 Career and
