• Natural resources- bauxite, gold, iron ore, manganese, nickel, and ect.

Independence Movement & Leaders• At the end of the 18th century Portugal began to develop in Brazil.• Beginning of the 19th century Dona Maria (1769-1821) reigned in Portugal.

Languages & Religions• 74% of the population are affiliated with the Roman Catholic• 15% of the population are affiliated with protestants.• The rest of them are Pentecostal.• They speak Portuguese.• The principle families of India language are Tupi, Arawak, Carib, and Ge.

Customs & Food• They eat crabs which is called carangueijada, in there language. They

also eat fresh water fish that is called Dourado. They eat chicken that is cooked with garlic, salt, and lemon.

• There breakfast is served from 7am.- 11am. Lunch is served form 11:30am.-3pm. And dinner is served from 7pm.-11pm.

• The lunch is called Amoco, and dinner is called Jan tar.

Dating & Marriage customs• Both sides of the marriage are equally important.• A legal civil ceremony must be performed.• They have religious ceremony wedding parties that are elaborated with

• Brazil has amongst the highest income inequality in the world, ranking 56.7 in the Gini coefficient- with the richest 10% of Brazilians receiving 50% of the nations income while the poorest 10% receive less than 1%.

• Poverty in Brazil is most visually represented by the various fameless slums in the country’s metropolitan areas and remote up country regions that suffer with economic under development and below pure standards of living.

• 8 years of fundamental education, 3 years of intermediary education, between 4-6 years of superior education.

• Post graduation courses.• With women and men there are equal rights and duties

under the terms of this constitution.
