WORK EXPERIENCE

July’ 2008 – July’2012:

Worked as a Project Engineer in Project Management team for the last 4 years with Energy Infratech

Private Limited (EIPL) for their 1200 MW Teesta stage III Hydro Electric project in Sikkim, India.

Accountabilities:

Billing Department 1. Validation of contractors / vendor’s bill.

2. Preparation of R.A. bills.

3. MIS Reporting - Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports.

4. Preparation of detailed BOQ, on the basis of drawings and to rectify the

BOQ received from the consultants

5. Overseeing Preparation of As-built Drawings.

6. Reading drawings, specifications, identifying item of works and taking of

quantities.

7. Monthly reconciliation of materials.

8. Resource Planning.

9. Co-ordination with Site, QC & Design Department.

10. Records of delays, hindrances caused by inclement weather conditions.

Planning Department 1. Planning and Scheduling of Construction sequences.

2. Coordinating with site and Purchase department to avoid any shortage of

materials for execution of work in site

3. Planning of raw materials required for site activities like cement,

aggregate, diesel, button bits, coupling sleeves and shank adaptor.

4. Advance procurement scheduling of critical items.

5. Creating work break system in ERP & capturing the progress of site

activities using ERP.

Monitoring Department 1. Monitor progress in engineering, procurement and construction activities in

relation to the master base schedule.

2. Preparation & Review of Monthly Progress Report of the project.

3. Cycle time analysis of excavation of tunnels.

4. Cycle time analysis of overt lining of tunnels.

5. Equipment/machinery breakdown analysis.

6. Monitoring the quality of activities done in the tunnelling.

7. Keeping tab on critical activities of the project.

8. Analysing the shortfalls of activities

9. Raising alarms when procedures of tunnelling activities not followed.

10. Addressing critical issues in the monthly project review meeting.

11. Projecting the status of project through various sketches.
