• Position a handle so that the handle grip is toward you. (The smooth side of the handle should be facing the liner.)
• Fit the end of the handle onto one of the ends of thesmall curved tube. Make sure the handle covers the reddot on the small curved tube.
Helpful Hint: The red dot on the small curved tube maybe hidden by the liner. Adjust the liner for a clearer view ofthe red dot.• Repeat this procedure to assemble the other handle.

Metal Fastenersin Rubber Feet
• Position the front stand so that the metal fasteners inthe rubber feet face the back stand.
• Fit the ends of the front stand into the indent inside each handle.
• Insert a screw through each handle and into the endsof the front stand. Tighten the screws with a Phillipsscrewdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Assembly is now complete.

• At an angle, fit the ends of the large curved tubes intothe handles. Align the holes in the ends of the largecurved tube with the holes in the handles.
• Insert a screw through the inside of each handle andinto the large curved tube. Tighten the screws with aPhillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Operation and Use
Battery Tips:• Remove the battery during long periods of non-use.
Always remove an exhausted battery from the product.Battery leakage and corrosion can damage the product.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.• A non-rechargeable battery is not to be recharged.• Only a battery of the same or equivalent type as
recommended in the "Battery Installation" instructions isto be used.
• If a removable rechargeable battery is used, it is only to be charged under adult supervision.
• A rechargeable battery is to be removed from theproduct before it is charged.
• If you use a battery charger, it should be examinedregularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure andother parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger untilit has been properly repaired.
• Insert a coin (or the end of a flat end screwdriver) and open the battery compartment door on one of the handles.
• Insert one size "C" alkaline battery as shown inside thebattery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment door.

• Place your baby in the Sit 'n Soothe Portable Bassinet™.• Pull the crotch pad up between your baby's legs.• Fasten both waist belts to the crotch pad. Make sure
you hear a "click" on both sides.• Make sure the waist belts are properly adjusted to fit
your baby.

To adjust the bassinet to upright:• Lift the back of the liner and then fasten the buckle.
Make sure you hear a "click".• When the bassinet is in the upright position, the pad
automatically surrounds your baby’s head.

Care
• Machine wash the pad and cover in cold water and amild detergent. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on lowheat and remove promptly.
• Surface wash the frame, liner and restraint system with amild detergent and water. Do not use bleach. Do not useharsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse clean with water toremove residue.
• Unfasten the pad fasteners on the back of the liner.

• Insert the fasteners on the back of the pad through theslots in the liner. Fasten the fasteners on the back of the liner.
• Feed the waist belts up through the slots in the pad.• Press to fasten the fasteners on the front of the pad to
the liner.
To Re-assemble the Pad
• To prevent suffocation from entrap-ment, use only the Fisher-Price®
pad provided. Never use additionalpadding or mattress.
• Never use plastic shipping bags orother plastic film as mattress covers.They can cause suffocation.
