Simple sentence building

Combining what we have learned so far.

• Gi is past tense

• Wi is future tense

• Word order is not very important but in order to sound more like a fluent speaker we will put the item we want to emphasize out front.

• If the sentence is a question the ne is usually the second thing in a sentence

Basic Independent pattern with AI verbs

• Nmaji- I leave

• Gmaji- you leave

• Maji- he/she leave

• Nmajimen- We (-u) leave

• Gmajimen- we all leave

• Gmajim- You all leave

• Majik- They leave.

Animacy and Inanimacy

• Remember Animacy (living) and Inanimacy (non living) are extremely important to the language from pluralizing to which verb to use to which this or that to use.

• Also because the verb is so important we are going to highlight the verb yellow and the personal pronoun blue.
