Make the most of the free and fun activities on offer just for you this Silver Sunday.

Silver Sunday on 6 October is a day for older people to celebrate. There will be free activities and events happening across the borough and surrounding areas to help you meet people and try new things.

The activities are open to anyone aged 65 or over and their carers. The day also introduces you to the many community groups and council services which are on offer to you throughout the year.

All the activities are free of charge and occurring on Sunday 6 October 2013 unless otherwise specified. Most activities do not require advance booking and are open to all on a first come first served basis on the day. Any events that require advance booking will be clearly flagged with relevant contact details.
