You are invited to attend the 2nd Annual NZMA South GP CME 2011
(General Practice Conference & Medical Exhibition). The 2nd Annual
meeting will be held at the The Dunedin Town Hall, 28-31 July 2011.
Due to the popularity of the Rotorua GP CME meeting, and the success of
the inaugural South GP CME 2010 meeting, the committee has confi rmed
the South GP CME meeting will run as an annual event. We have sadly
had to reschedule this meeting in Dunedin following the tragic earthquake
events in Christchurch. The programme has had some minor alterations
as a consequence.
The programme is varied and covers key areas of interest in general
practice. The content provides short, sharp and to the point clinical
updates with key ‘take home’ messages to change your daily behaviour.
Includes repeated group sessions with case studies.
NZMA members receive $150 discount on full registration.
There is a dedicated Practice Nurses Programme on Saturday 30 July,
arranged by the NZ College of Primary Health Care Nurses (NZNO).
Registered Nurses are invited to any other sessions.
A dedicated Practice Managers programme has also been arranged for
Sunday 31 July. Topics include a Business Summit with MAS, Insurance,
Shift Work, and Medical Property Development.
Emergency Resuscitation Courses to Level 5 & 7 Standard will be provided,
with a minimum of 6 and limited to 12 people per session. As spaces are
limited, these will be allocated as registration forms are received.
The Saturday evening Conference Dinner is an optional highlight- join us
for dinner and an evening of entertainment at Larnach’s Castle.
We look forward to hearing if you can attend.
If you require any further details, visit www.gpcme.co.nz/south or contact;
