1. Received 28 applications: 2 did not follow instructions and 3 received Sila funds in past 3 years

2. Summery of 23 applications in alphabetical order introduced to CRs to vote (choose 10 projects, 1-10 points)

3. Sila's priorities when distributing the funds (part of Sila Bazaar rules):• projects covering more urgent needs• projects that benefit large number of people• projects depending on donations• projects from underprivileged groups• poor, distressed or underdeveloped areas and communities

SILA BAZAAR 2014 – NEXT STEPS

1. Meeting the applicants: o All Sila members are asked to volunteer and help with

the next level and meet the applicants (min 2 people per project)

o Visits between June and end August o Check if applicants in real need for funds and amount

requested o Some CRs might join youo Sila board and Bazaar committee will not participate

unless not enough volunteerso Sila members that initiated certain project should not be

involved in the same project

2. Report sent by 1st September and presented at GM on 9th September

3. Please do not distribute /promise / confirm donation to anyone
