The Smart Grid (SG) has a wide portfolio of
smart and flexible infrastructures area and the
low Medium Voltage (LMV) offers a wide
choice of products/systems and solutions for
energy distribution infrastructures.
LMV supplied the medium voltage equipment
for seven new Angolan power plants
SG won two strategic orders from Empresa
de Distribuição de Electricidade de Luanda
(EDEL), related to a study of energy grid for
the Angolan capital and the preventive

MOL | RL division connects different

The 3i program promoted and harvested employers’ ideas,

The Healthcare sector submitted, in 2012, another patent
request associated to an innovative method in the detection
of breast tumor lesion area, as a result of collaborated
protocols established with national institutions.
In the airport business Siemens Portugal developed a
baggage process system software that operates in several
countries namely, United Arab Emirates, China, USA,
Bahrain, India and Singapore.

fifth consecutive time, in first place in the “Diverse Industries” sector
