SYNOPSIS - ORIGINALSi Tanggang Ungrateful Son Si Tanggang was a very good son to Pak Talang and Mak Deruma. He had a

very high ambition. He want to be a sailor. One fine day, he got an offered to be a sailor. After he got the job, he never want to return back to his hometown. He used to be a very hardworking sailor, until one day he fell in love with the daughter of the ship’s owner. The ship’s owner likes Tanggang very much because of his hardworkingness, he offered Tanggang to married with her daughter. After Tanggang married with the ship’s owner daughter, he became a very arrogant person. One day, the ship that he used to work for, had to stop at his hometown. Tanggang’s mother was very happy to see her son. But, by the time she met her son, Tanggang does not want to admit that the old woman is his mother. Tanggang’s mother was very upset with him. So, Mak Deruma pray to God to show that Tanggang was a very ungrateful son. By God’s power, Tanggang turns to stone suddenly and all of his sailors and his wife turn to stone too.

SYNOPSIS - ADAPTATIONSi Kecil And The Stone GodSi Kecil was a very good son for Pak Tongkat and Mak Gemela, he is a very hardworking person since he was young. One day he got an opportunity to enter a famous school, but the fees of the school is so expensive. His parents couldn't afford it , but Si Kecil wanted to study in that school so badly. One day, his parents bring him to a place which local believe the stone god will help people who really need help. This is the first time they see the stone god, They tell the stone god what they want. The stone god agree to what they request for. However, Stone God want Si Kecil promise must take care his parents well, Si Kecil accept the condition. After few years later, Si Kecil started to change his personality and bad attitude toward his parents, he look down his parents and feel his parents are poor and old compare to his friends, but he totally forgot what actually he promised to the stone god. The stone god never forget the condition that Si Kecil promised, stone god turn all his fees and book into a stone. Luckily, he wake up from the dream, he realized it was just a dream. However, after the dream Si Kecil become a good son again. Moral Value: Don’t take your parents for granted
