Upon completion of this course, you will have an understanding of:
• Current practices in clinical trials • Initiation and execution of clinical trials • Ethical Issues concerning clinical trials
• International Regulations about clinical research • Duties and responsibilities of investigators
Training sessions on Good Clinical Practices (GCP), sessions on basic principlesand regulations, workshops, site visits and social activities. The attendees will
gain a greater understanding of current practices in clinical trials, their planningand execution with lectures by high profile speakers, presentations and visitsto institutions and researchers. The organization will create opportunities for
participants to present and share experiences, explore new directions, expandtheir networks and establish a long-lasting environment for scientific
interaction and connection between Turkey and Brazil.
The course participants can be investigators with high potential especiallyfrom clinical branches such as cardiology, neurology, oncology internal
medicine and clinical pharmacology etc., who have the interest and capacityto develop and improve clinical research in Brazil. Also, academicians who
are not clinicians but involved in activities such as ethics committee.
