Rombouts and Brussels Airlines are joining forces to protect the Virunga National Park in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. This collaboration will improve the economic development and protection of the local environment.

The poverty of the people living around the Virunga National Park leads to poaching and deforestation. This poses a serious threat to the animals that inhabit the park, such as the critically endangered mountain gorilla.

Rombouts & Brussels Airlines have invested in projects that will help the local community find employment on sustainable coffee plantations. With our economic support, poaching and deforestation are no longer a necessity to survive.
