Hyden CRC is currently seeking
Expressions of Interest for the following
courses as some courses require minimum
numbers:
MC Truck Licence - September
Lifetime Ewe Management
Agrimaster beginner’s or intermediate
course.
HR Licence Thursday 18th June 2015
Licence assessment will be conducted in a truck
with a Syncromesh gearbox.
Assessment cost is $470 per person, with training
extra at $120 per hour. Payment needs to be made to
Hyden CRC by Thursday 4th June.
If you haven’t had any experience driving a truck
before, you will need training. At least two hours is
recommended before the assessment.
Please contact us as soon as possible to confirm
your interest in obtaining a HR licence. Please let us
know ASAP if you need any training as we will
need to allow extra time.

The Medical Centre wish to advise that Dr Karen Moller
is recommencing her clinics which are subsidized by
RFDS.
Dr Moller will continue to visit on a bi-monthly basis.

The Shire of Kondinin recognises the importance of the Wave
Rock tourist facility which attracts in the order of 140,000 tour-
ists per year. Wave Rock is a key tourist icon that assists in the
broader promotion of tourism within the district, in particular
through the initiative ‘Pathways to Wave Rock’.
The Shire intends developing a plan covering the next few years
detailing improvements that need to be made to the Wave Rock
tourist facility and invites members of the public to submit their
ideas of what we can do to improve the facility. Your
submission and involvement is considered important by the Shire
of Kondinin and so we encourage you to put your creative think-
ing caps on and advise us your thoughts and ideas.
Submissions by letter or email are to be sent to the Shire’s CEO,
John Read, up until Friday 26th
June, 2015 at
WAVE ROCK SUBMISSIONS
The Shire of Kondinin is looking for submissions for the naming
of the Kondinin Aquatic Centre building and the big room within
the Centre. The community is encouraged to submit names for
both the building and the big room that have some relevance to
the town of Kondinin.
All submissions should be directed to the Shire before Friday
31st July 2015.
KONDININ AQUATIC CENTRE SUBMISSIONS
SKIP BIN FOR HIRE Looking to clean up your yard? Then why not request the use of the
skip bin to remove that extra waste.
The skip bin is available to all residents to use on a rotational
basis. To ensure that all requests are met in a timely manner, it is
allocated for a two week period. Exten-
sions can be granted if there is no one on
the waiting list, otherwise we ask that you
wait until others have had a turn. Please
note there is a $10 fee for the use of the
skip bin.
CAT AND DOG REGISTRATIONS
It is now a mandatory requirement that all dogs are microchipped and cats are
microchipped and sterilised before registration.
Recycle Bins Missing Several recycle bins have gone
missing from the Kondinin Waste Transfer Station
It is kindly requested that these bins be
promptly returned to the Waste Transfer Station
Please note if you have extra recycle waste please use the Recycle Station located behind Trembath Park
Council Meeting Catering
Council is asking for tenders to cater for Council Meeting meals for the 2015/2016 Financial Year. Interested persons/organisations/businesses are asked to provide a quote to cater for Afternoon Tea and Dinner for approximately 12 people. Kondinin is the venue for all meetings except for those in March and September which are held in Hyden. There is no Council meeting in January. Should you require any further information on the format for the Meetings please contact Sue Pegrum at the Shire on her email [email protected]. Tenders close on Friday 5th June 2015 at 4.00pm
