Cornell Ave. Opening Reception: December 11, 2011 | Free The exhibit includes 108 paintings, collages, and prints that depict the child’s card game, Memoria [Memory], to discuss the “tropicalization” or “latinization” of US culture. Memoria [Memory] is an installation where in Suárez discussed the impact that Latinos have had in the cultural and political landscape of the U.S. since the inception of the Bracero Program during World War II.
