The Punjab Today Group is publishing English language weekly newspaper PUNJAB TODAY and a Punjabi Magazine also titled PUNJAB TODAY. Both the publications are registered with RNI, under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

PUNJAB TODAY, a Punjabi monthly magazine is being published from Patiala since 1991. The magazine appeals to the broadspectrum of Punjabi knowing readership, and devotes space to address issues and concerns of rural as well as urban reader constituency. Its reach extends far beyond Punjab. Over the years, we have garnered significant readership in Delhi, Jammu and even in several key pockets in Uttar Pradesh where Punjabi-speaking people reside. The demand from Punjabi Diaspora in the West as well as in the Gulf region has, of course, always been on the rise. The magazine is currently in circulation in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, U.P., Himachal, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan, J.K. and M.P. We have recently been witnessing a surge in readership in Mumbai, thanks to the new ground broken by our English publication.

Punjab Today English Weekly is aimed at the new age constituency of English speaking youth, influential opinion makers, bureaucrats, educationists, professionals, and high-end consumers. It appeals to those who are increasingly finding the mainstream news media failing to cater to their taste and intelligence. Our readers belong to a class of people whose tastes, choices and spending patterns are setting the norms for the times. Our creed is meaningful journalism that respects the readers' intelligence with a serious approach to issues rather than insult it by serving quickly-digestible news bytes that have become the bane of the media.

Under an ambitious expansion plan, the Punjab Today Group has promoted a Private Limited Company under the name and style of PT Media Private Limited based at Patiala. The Company is registered with Govt. of India under Registrar of Companies, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh vide Corporate Identity Number: U32104PB2008PTC032025. The company has acquired a plot of land measuring 1000 Sq. Yards at Focal Point, Patiala and has constructed a mammoth building for an office and a production hall measuring approx. 6500 sq. ft. The company has already installed an imported offset machine and now all Group publications are printed in house.

FOUNDATION

PUNJAB TODAY Punjab Today Group has

consistently remained a votary of Corporate Social Responsibility. The PUNJAB TODAY FOUNDATION, a non-profit organisation backed by the Group, frequently

undertakes various CSR projects like organizing blood donation camps, free medical camps, sports

tournaments, distributing blankets, sewing machines, utensils and food items to the needy and homeless

people and sponsoring fee for computer education to students.

ü Readers' Club To promote readership habit among our citizens and to

educate, enlighten and entertain them, the Group has envisioned a new movement in the form of Punjab Today Readers' Club. The membership of the Club is open to all. The member readers will be encouraged to participate in debates, seminars and conferences on themes which affect our day to day life. The Club will also be engaged in social service projects as well as organise entertainment events aimed at promoting traditional folklore and heritage.
