Area Assessment
The area (about 2.8 ha) is part of an ex-quarry area and is temporarily used by Construction Industry Council Training Academy as a training ground (Plan A16). The area is one of the potential sites identified for new public columbarium development, which is currently under study by the Food and Health Bureau (FHB).
Recommendation
To rezone the area for columbarium use, subject to FHB’s decision on the public columbarium proposal.
