From the foundation of Chugoku Marine Paints (CMP) leading edge
antifouling technologies, comes a new range of antifoulings which
provides ship operators with a modern way to achieve high
performance. SEA GRANDPRIX Advanced Fusion (with renowned
hydrolysis controller) and Fusion SPC technology is the result of
combining CMPs renowned hydrolysis compounds and hydrophobic
polymers to provide unique products which enable economic
antifouling performance on underwater hulls of sea going ships for
in service periods of up to 60 months.
SEA GRANDPRIX 220HS, 330R and 660 HS (including the release rate
controller) are a range of antifouling paints designed to meet the
economic challenges faced by the marine industry and perform on a
dock to dock basis regardless of the ship age or time requirements
between dockings, whether it be 24,30,36,48 or 60 months. The range
simplifies specifications and every product can be used with each
other in duplex schemes as appropriate. Modern technology enabled
increased volume solids which automatically reduces Volatile
Organic Compounds (VOC) / emission levels. Modern technology has
also improved working processes, at application (higher volume
solids = less antifouling paint to apply and drums to dispose of),
furthermore these products are compatible with majority of existing
grades of antifouling, and are suitable for use on all ship
types.
