you. We will go over the tools and "how to" of English Paper Piecing the Hugs
‘n Kisses way!

We know there are quilters who will always “quick-cut” the 90° family of shapes
with a 6″ x 24″ ruler. But not many want to cut 60° projects with that same ruler! Or
avoid any block that can’t be cut with a basic ruler. The From Marti and Me Hexie
Club will give you the confidence to try an alternative and something new.
The hexagon club is planned to start with a very easy equilateral triangles project,
no set-in seams, etc., and each month add progressively more skills.

Hoop Envy Club Pickle Pie's Hoop Envy Club features sophisticated ‘in the hoop' designs,
specially created to take advantage of the BIG hoops available on to-
day's top-of-the-line embroidery machines. Each month's EXCLUSIVE De-
sign CD features an irresistible project in multiple sizes so even small-hoop
owners can join in. Projects featured are for participating Hoop Envy
Club members only.
Machine Brands and Hoops of all sizes are welcome. There may be some limitations
depending upon the largest hoop available for your machine.
April Topic: Stitch a lovely bag featuring a ruffle or other fun trim (think ric-
rac, lace, pleated ribbon, and more!) Personalize your bag with a name
or monogram for a nice finishing touch!

academy. Each month we will tackle a new technique, learn about embroidery products,
and troubleshooting embroidery problems.

April Topic: Cutwork Embroidery-Learn to create beautiful openwork embroidery using your
embroidery machine and a pair of scissors. Water-soluble stabilizer makes easy work of this
classic technique. We will create an elegant lingerie bag.

Become a Master of your BERNINA sewing machine! Now that you’ve bought your fabulous new machine, let’s learn how to use it.
PLEASE call and register for classes at least one week prior to class start date.

Learn how you can improve your sewing skills with the extensive line of
BERNINA feet, accessories, and the features of your sewing machines.
Each month we will focus on a sewing technique and the BERNINA feet
and accessories that make sewing that technique effortless. Lecture/
Demonstration format—No need to bring your machine out of the house.
Hemming is an important finish to many fashion and home décor
styles. Cascading ruffles, shirt tail hems, delicate blouse edges
and napkins are but a few places for these great finishes. Learn
to use BERNINA Hemmer feet to achieve a utilitarian or decora-
tive finish professionally. A variety of feet are available creating
hem sizes that range from 2-6mm in straight, curved or shell ma-
chine-made hems for fabrics of different thickness.

quilt is made up of American iconic scenes like the majestic bald ea-
gle, Mount Rushmore and Lady Liberty. It makes you proud to be an
American! In addition, each block can stand alone as a wall hanging,
pillow, or table topper. These designs are available exclusively to students in the
workshop. There will pre-class preparation needed.

This is Claudia's latest design with fresh ocean scenes and all things
fun in the sun!! You can almost hear the ocean and feel the sun on
your skin!!
These classes will be taught by national educator, Claudia Dinnell, who is a very tal-
ented designer and teacher for embroidery and quilting. Each two-day workshop will
focus on using Claudia's unique method for accurately multi-hooping oversized de-
signs with perfect placement!
