AMINO STB ACCESSORIES
Amino offers a wide range of accessories that can be ordered as ‘in-the-box’ customer configurations, or as after-sales upgrades, spares or for refurbishment. These include:
Remote controls The Amino STB range can be specified with either a simple or advanced remote control, the latter offering additional control of standard TV and DVD functions via a single remote. Exact R/C models may depend on the particular STB (see parts list overleaf).
Keyboards An infra-red keyboard with integrated navigation pad and IR frequency selection . Exact models may depend on the particular STB (see parts list overleaf).
Infra-red extenders The infra-red receiver of the Amino hospitality STB range can be extended with an IR dongle for when the STB itself is mounted in a remote location, such as under the desk. A USB IR extender is also available for the standard STB range from Home-Electronics/Argento Systems (www.home-electro.com).
AV cables Amino STBs are designed with flexible AV cable configuration options. All SD models and most HD models are equipped with a flexible 10-way analogue output. This allows the specification of various cable configurations to meet specific customer requirements, such as SCART, composite/S-VHS and Composite/ component (YPrPb). All HD models are equipped with an HDMI output allowing an HDMI cable to be specified.
TVI cables The Amino hospitality STB range can be connected via a special cable to certain models of hospitality TVs to simplify guest room solutions with a single remote control. The straight cable is for TVs enabled with IR pass-through. The ‘Y’ cable combines TVI with the IR extender dongle, for TVs without IR pass-through.
Debug cable For qualified service and maintenance personnel, or for partner development teams, a serial cable can be specified allowing direct debug and control of the STB from a PC. This cable comes with a header that can be soldered in to the STB PCB and requires that the STB is opened up.
Power supplies Product and country specific power supplies and cables are available for the entire STB range.
Product base Most of the distinctive Amino STB range can be mounted either vertically or horizontally on a specially designed base.
