TURNKEY SUPPLIES

ŠKODA PRAHA is an EPC contractor of power plants on turnkey basis. Our portfolio of services also includes technologies for environmental protection such as power plant desulphurization, denitrification and dust removal. We provide rehabilitation of existing plants to increase their efficiency, extend lifetime and improve safety.

ŠKODA PRAHA acts as EPC Contractor and EPC Manager (EPCM) as well as a provider of engineering, owner’s engineering and consultancy services. ŠKODA PRAHA provides tailor made engineering solutions using the state of art technologies. ŠKODA PRAHA also supports international clients by export financing.

NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

Specific know-how of ŠKODA PRAHA includes consultancy and Owner’s Engineering (OE) services for nuclear power plants. As EPC contractor of nuclear power plant projects in Czech and Slovak Republic, we have maintained our competency for supplies of conventional island and balance of plant. Our activities include upgrade of power plant systems, increase of power output and implementation of most recent safety standards.

EPC rehabilitation of 4 x 200 MW lignite fired units. In this project, all equipment was replaced while respecting the existing layout. Emissions were reduced and net efficiency was increased to over 39%. The plant was put in operation in 2012.

Počerady combined cycle Power PLANT, CzECh REPUBLIC

EPC delivery of the 840 MW combined cycle power plant consisting of 2 gas turbines + 2 heat recovery steam generators + 1 steam turbine. The net efficiency exceeds 58%. The plant was put in operation in 2013.

LEDVICE POWER PLANT, CzECh REPUBLIC

EPC delivery of ultrasupercritical 660 MW lignited fired unit. Estimated net efficiency of 42,5%. The plant is being commissioned. Commercial operation is expected in the first quarter of 2016.
