Golf & Country Club is one of the most distinctive golf com-

plexes on the Costa del Sol. It has two magnificent 18-hole

courses.

Atalaya Golf was during ten years the Southern European

headquarters for the PGA-E (Professional Golfers’ Associa-

tion of Europe)

A classical par-72 18-hole course designed in

1968 by Bernhard von Limburger, it has a series

of generous Bermuda-lawn fairways, strategically-

positioned bunkers and elevated greens. It is a

typical open walking parkland course that repre-

sents a challenge for players with either a high or

low handicap.

Un campo clásico de par 72 y 18 hoyos diseñadoen 1968 por Bernhard von Limburger con unasucesión de generosas calles de hierba Ber-muda, búnkers en posiciones estratégicas y gre-ens elevados, un recorrido que resulta bastantecómodo, llano y agradable para jugarlo a pie. Elcampo supone un reto para jugadores con hán-dicap alto como bajo.

This course, created in 1990, constitutes a true challenge for the most

demanding professionals while proving enjoyable for those who have

already started playing the game. Like its older brother, it is a par-71

18 hole course with undulating fairways, perfect greens and spectacular

panoramic views. You are advised to play cautiosly off the tees, using

irons, because risk-taking may well result in disaster by the turn. This

course rewards intelligent play.

The Atalaya New Course is a spectacular golf course designed for

anyone seeking a real challenge.

Al igual que su hermano mayor, se trata de un campode par 71 y 18 hoyos que dispone de calles onduladas, perfectos gre-ens así como espectaculares vista panorámicas. Le recomendamossalir directamente del tee, jugando cuidadosamente con hierros, por-que puede romper su tarjeta antes de llegar al hoyo 9 si arriesga de-masiado. El campo le recompensará si juege con inteligencia.
