DEJEUNONS SUR L’HERBE

THE KIND OF WINES YOU WILL BE SERVED The wines are selected from sustainable wineries from around the world and are made by winemakers who care about the experience and pleasure their products will give to their customers. Some of my partners include Louis Cheze, Jean Luc Colombo, Rock -ford, Monstant, Bertrand Jorez, Daniel Petre, Pascal Veraeghe. Most of the time, the wine list will be designed from my own selection of independent wine merchants, (Blanco and Gomez Wine Merchants, Lea and Sandeman, The good Wine shop, Be My Wine, Soho wine, La cave de Jules, France), or restaurants (l’antidote), but I can also arrange a special Waitrose selection.

THE TYPE OF FOOD I CHOOSE

I carefully select seasonal food from local, independent suppliers and/or delicatessen stores: Beillevaire Cheesemonger for cheese, bread and butter, Mortimer & Bennett for charcuterie, olives, butter and cream, Natoora for seasonal fruits and vegetables, and Marlène Food Styling Blue Pudding Catering for Canapés.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Although I trained as a microbiologist it was probably always accepted that I would, before too long, follow my heart to the enjoyment of well chosen food and wine. Within a few years, I had abandoned microbiology for oenology, passed my WSET (Wine Spirits Education Trust) and set up Déjeunons Sur l’Herbe doing what I love.
