Our venue, Sofitel Brisbane Central is the largest, fully integrated hotel meeting facility in Brisbane. In 2015 there were a number of major changes introduced, one of the most important being the program design process, which was led by a team of the most engaged volunteers in the community. Like 2015, the conference program for Service Management 2016 will be drawn from an impressive pool of abstracts, using an anonymous online submission system open to all ITSM professionals.

Abstracts will be assessed and selected by the volunteer committee of ITSM practitioners. These reviewers will provide valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement where necessary, and make recommendations on which submissions should go into the conference program.

The final conference program will be signed off by the experts in the Conference Committee, and will feature a diverse range of exciting keynote speakers and specialist presentations by professionals from across the international and Australian Service Management community.

Service Management 2016 will keep the 2-day conference program format that was so well received in 2015. The streamlined program will feature 50+ speakers across four concurrent sessions on the Wednesday and Thursday, with a pre-conference workshop day to be held on the Tuesday.

Awards presentation ceremonyThe winners will be announced at the Service Management 2016 Conference Gala Dinner, which will be held on Wednesday 17 August 2016 at the Sofitel Brisbane Central.

As well as being the much anticipated social event for conference attendees, the Gala Dinner is a popular event in its own right, attracting around 400 guests. Tickets are to be sold separately.
