A discussion was had on what to do to han-dle the sewer line problem. Jacobson gave es-timates to fix 21 repairs or to fix all the repairs as seen in last televising. He stated that if the city did not want to do all the fixes at once, he would honor that price down the road. He also stated that the patching may cause other leaks in the lines. Guy stated that since the last flow there has been an increased flow at the lagoon and also stated that the water table is up since then which causes sump pumps to run. Some of the some pumps are running into the sewer lines. Guy stated that there are 2 options to find leaks: 1. Smoke testing and 2. Die testing. It was noted that the laterals should be looked at. Jacobson stated that they can now look into the laterals. Guy stated that the laterals at the north end of the town could be looked at; have the meter recalculated at the lagoon and smoke test. Gunderson stated that he thinks there is a major problem. Penner stated that the system will continue changing and that fix/maintenance will need to be done. Council will need to look at the big picture. Gunderson would like to have a video made of the tile lines to see where they are going and if they are running into the sewer lines. Jacobson is to bring an estimate for removing roots and televising the sewer lines from beginning to end. Jacobson left.Deputy Sheriff Hunter gave the February re-port. He stated that the department has kept an eye on the issue from last month. He was asked about how the department would handle a water shutoff that was being turned back on. There needs to be evidence of who is turning it back on. He was also given the ordinance for ATV usage in town. Deputy left.2. The discussion continued on the sewer line/sump pump. It was noted that the general sew-er fill rate compared to water usage is 150%. The council wants to make sure that they han-dle the problem with the best use of the money available. Guy is to send the DNR rules about the sump pumps into the sewer lines and also the guidelines they have for helping a city rem-edy the sump pump dumping. It was mentioned that flow meters could be placed in the sewer lines to find where there is a large flow. The residents have been notified in the last mayor letter about the issue. Clerk is to have Jacob-son estimate a cost per house to check for tile lines hooked to the sewer lines. The council will also look at an ordinance change to handle the sump pump draining into the sewer line.New Business:1. Council began discussion on raising ceme-tery internment prices. This will be continued next month.2. Discussion was had on the city wide clean up. It was decided to handle it the same way as last year. The city will need to pick up the appliances. Clerk to contact Moler Sanitation to make arrangements.3. Bracy stated that Alliant Energy is replacing the street light poles on Main Street. It was also decided to disconnect the bus barn power.4. Penner reported to the council the pricing that he had found on basketball goals. Dirt needs to be placed around the court on the old foundation and seeded and a sealer put on the court after the weeds are killed. It was also discussed that the parks in general need to be cleaned up. It was mentioned to look into hav-ing the swing replaced. The council will discuss further next month.Committee Reports:Fire Department – Nothing to report.Streets and Alleys – Nothing to report.Park and Rec and Community Building – Noth-ing more to report.General and Utilities – The town needs to be cleaned up so it is time to start the nuisances again.Sanitation – Nothing to report.Public Safety – Nothing to report.Mosher made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Gunderson.
