Justification and context

• Preliminary evaluation of the SICIEA reveals: some “niches”

• One of them is related with detection and monitoring factors of success

• Current statistics operations not allow to control these “dimensions”,

• Need to design and implement new statistical operations as a way to complete and improve our current Entrepreneurship Indicator System (SICIEA)

behaviour of new entrepreneurs in Andalusia during the first five years of existence

• Create a longitudinal dataset that tracks new businesses over five years

• Create a public use data source• Inform policy decisions and academic analysis• In addition: Comparability (Cross-sectional

objective included in the Andalusian Statistical Plan)
