SERENGETI?! What is that?
•About serengeti:
Size: 14,763 sq km (5,700 sq miles).
Location: 335km (208 miles) from Arusha, stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the
west.
What to do?
Hot air balloon safaris, walking safari, picnicking,
game drives, bush lunch/dinner can be arrangedwith hotels/tour operators. Maasai rock paintings
and musical rocks.
When to go?
To follow the African wild animal may refer to,
December-July. To see creatures which hunts other creatures for food , June-
October
Where is serengeti!?

Lions1.A lion can drink for as long as 20 mins after eating
2.A male eats first, even if the female catches the prey
3.Lions rarely eat an entire prey, leaving the rest for other animals such as vultures
4.The average lifespan is 13 years
Elephants1.Elephant trunks can get very heavy. It is not
uncommon to see elephants resting them over a tusk!
2.Elephants cry, play, have incredible memories, and laugh!
3.Elephants have greeting ceremonies when a friend that has been away for some time returns to the
group.
Rhinoceros
Cheetah1.The name cheetah comes from an Indian word meaning
"spotted one.“
2.The young cub has a long gray-blue coat and a black underbelly that rapidly lightens and becomes spotted.
3.Cheetahs were so popular that Akbar the Great of India was said to have kept a stable of about 1,000.
Why- Our opinion
We think people should go to Serengeti because of its beautiful view and animals, the African simple
atmosphere and to enjoy the different Customs and traditions of the tribes
•AdvicesTake cameras, bring simple clothes, make sure you have maps and a handbook so you wont get lost with the language and the different places , and
also take a dictionary
