Lemon Tree Hotels win the Asian Human Capital Award 2015
We are the proud winner of the 2015 Asian Human Capital Award. Lemon Tree Hotels is the only Indian company to win this award from amongst 40 multi-industry contenders across Asia. The esteemed award was presented to our CMD, Mr. Patu Keswani, in the award ceremony held in Singapore. The awards committee appreciated Lemon Tree for building effective strategies to mainstream Persons with
Disability. The award also establishes Lemon Tree Hotels as one of the leading companies in Asia to follow innovative and cutting-edge diversity practices.
The Platinum Abba, stayed at the Lemon Tree Premier, Delhi Airport during the course of their stay in Delhi amidst which they performed at the Sirifort Auditorium in south Delhi. PLATINUM was formed as a 6-piece band in 1997 - under their original name of Platinum ABBA - with the sole aim of becoming the best "ABBA" tribute band in the World.

From LTHWF Files The long staying guest from Germany was on his premier visit to India. He was intrigued about the city and wanted to explore the same. However, concerned about his safety, Manohar offered the guest to accompany him to explore the in and out of Bangalore. The guest appreciated the same and thanked him for the hospitality. Kudos to you!
From LTHWF Files When a Platinum guest requested for a sudden cab service, but could not be immediately served due to non-availability of cabs. Basavraj, from security, realised the criticality of the moment and offered to drop her carpooling along with other guests going the similar direction. He also explained the situation to the guests and apologised for the inconvenience. His move was well appreciated by the guests Way to go Basvaraj!

From RFHHY Files On a night of heavy check in at the RFHHY, Sai, from maintenance, realized the severity of situation and immediately went over to the Front Desk to assist the night GSA in the checking in process. On the same night, due to RFHHY being sold out, a guest had to be shifted to LTPHY1. However with only one person being at the Front Desk, Srinivas, the security officer, jumped in to help the guest and escorted him to the premier hotel. We are proud of you !
Vimla and Ravinder from the Housekeeping department of the respective hotels, went out of the way to return the guests money, Rs. 25000, and a gold chain, found lying in their rooms after checkout. We appreciate their honesty and applaud their work. You make us proud!
When a guest suddenly extended her visit in India, she requested for a local SIM card. However, due to immediate unavailability, the SIM could not be given to her. Saikat, from the front office, without causing any further inconvenience to the guest, handed over his own personal SIM card to her. The guest was very overwhelmed by this gesture and appreciated the same on various fronts. We are proud of you Saikat!

Swachh Bharat Ticker
On 2nd October 2015, LTVLR, LTPHY1, LTPGN1, RFHHY and LTHHP refreshed
the pledge for the Swachh Bharat, Swasthya Bharat endeavor for 2015-2016. All
employees were an active part of the activity.
LTHAR and LTHGB organized a medical and blood donation camp wherein many of our
hotel staff donated their blood. The medical camp organised at LTPDL1 and RFHDL saw
most employees come up and get themselves a free health check up at the hotel
premises. You fill our hearts with pride!
The Functional Excellence Program of the Finance and HR departments were culminated at Jaipur for this year.
The learning sessions proved to be a great motivation and made the event a
huge success. Here are a few glimpses of the grand
event.
The 13th birthday of Lemon Tree Hotels was celebrated with great fun and frolic across all the 27 hotels in 16 cities. A very Happy Birthday Lemon Tree Hotels. The birthday bash had the staff and guests engage in various fun and frolic activities. Many hotels were also a part of different charities and spread smiles sharing their joy with the underprivileged.
RFHDL organised an internal Chef’s Competition . The chefs had to prepare a 3 course meal from the western, pan-Asian, Chinese and Indian cuisine. A wide variety of food was prepared for the judges and after much ado, Chef Harvinder Singh, Chef Ravinder Singh and Chef Mukesh Kumar were declared the winner of the same.
The RFHDL’s FO team member Lalit Kumar (Bell Boy-SHI) has been awarded with the third position in XIX National Games of deaf held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat from 10th -14th September 2014 in Swimming 4x50 free style relay event. The award was given to him by the Bihar Government on 29th Aug’15. Way to go Lalit!!
