MAGIE LENTE © MSFTS PRODUCTIONS DE LA COUR À LA SCÈNE The De la cour à la scène committee, made up of representatives of primary schools in the borough and its two Maisons de la culture, has been introducing children to culture, for more than 20 years, in partnership with the Maison Théâtre. This year, some 5,000 children will attend the following shows: 26 lettres à danser (dance) by the company Bouge de là, Une ouïe inouïe (song) by André Borbé, Le Porteur (theatre) by Théâtre de l’Œil, Et voilà encore un autre beau Sunday de passé (theatre) by Théâtre Magasin and Théâtre de la Vieille 17. Before each show, students take part in a preparatory activity meant to promote a greater appreciation for the artistic experience. CULTURAL MEDIATION Through various cultural mediation projects presented each year, citizens are given a chance to foster a special connection with artists and professional works. One such project will see dance development agent Harold Rhéaume of the company Le Fils d’Adrien danse carry out a three- year project at Salle Iro Valaskakis- Tembeck, where the public will be invited to take part in the creative process. Musician Emmanuelle Lizère will present activities in connection with the exhibition Voyons voir…The Ville de Montréal collection on exhibit! RESIDENCIES The Maison de la culture de Notre- Dame-de-Grâce supports a number of Montréal-based artists through its incubator program. This fall, the dance companies Nadère arts vivants, Maribé – sors de ce corps, and Le Fils d’Adrien danse will benefit from creative residencies in situ to develop new projects, as will choreographer Brice Noeser. In theatre, the Maison de la culture de Notre-Dame-de-Grâce will host Le Trunk collectif as well as musicians Marie-Josée Simard, the trio En Trois Couleurs, and the duo made up of Irina Krasnyanskaya and Jean-Fabien Schneider.
