September brings one of the biggest highlights of the year; The Scottish International Air Show, thousands of people will descend on Ayr’s Low Green to enjoy exciting flying displays, stalls, funfair and lots more. The William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival runs from 20th – 22nd September and two annual book festivals return, Tidelines in September and Imprint in October.Also in October it’s Halloween, with some spooky events going on at Heads of Ayr Farm Park, The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Culzean Castle and Tamfest returns, a unique celebration of Halloween & Heritage.Illuminight is back for 2018, last year the event welcomed nearly 40,000 people to Dean Castle Country Park.
