The Tajik of Central Asia are the oldest surviving people group in that region.
The majority of Tajiks are Sunni Muslims, although some Shi'ites exist. They understand the concept of sacrifice, like the analogy of the Lamb of God dying on the cross.
Most are closed to the gospel, but some are open to at least a discussion of spiritual things. About one-tenth of Tajiks are classified as non-religious.
PRAYER POINTS~ Pray Luke 10:2 “Lord, send laborers to reach the Tajik People.”
~ Pray that Holy Spirit will give strategy for outreach to the Tajik.
~ Pray that God’s Word; written, oral, musical & dramatic, would open Tajik hearts.
