When I founded Star

Clippers in 1989, I

dreamt of creating

a sailing experience

unlike anything in

existence. A lofty

goal, but now, 30

years later, I am

our guests that this is exactly what they love best about

some of the most beautiful parts of the globe aboard

an authentic, modern tall ship.

destinations in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Southeast

Asia through a new lens.

As the demand for new destinations in Southeast Asia

continues to grow, we’re thrilled to announce we’ve added

Cambodia to our list of ports. Beginning in April 2020,

the Star Clipper will call on the Cambodian island of Koh

Rong, a wildlife paradise boasting dense forests and white

beaches, and the trendy coastal city of Sihanoukville. And while

a two-day excursion to iconic Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.

The Royal Clipper will call on an array of new ports in the

Mediterranean including the charming town of Propriano,

Corsica, with its vibrant harbor and Stintino, a small

traditional village with some of the best beaches in Sardinia.

In Croatia, new ports of call include Zadar, where guests can

explore Roman ruins and Venetian architecture and romantic

Korcula with its red tile roofed Old Town and surrounding

cypress and pine forest.

No matter which itinerary you choose, traveling on board a

sails year-round in this tropical paradise,

allowing for plenty of beach time, not

to mention diving and snorkeling, as

well as opportunities to explore ancient

temples and ruins, wild jungles and vibrant cities alike.

From November through April, Star Clipper

and southbound sailings out of Phuket, visiting worthy

ports of call in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Sail into

the famous Patong Bay with its sheer limestone crags

and crystal-clear blue water, visit Phang Nga Bay and Ko

Similan, or explore Langkawi in Malaysia, an area known for

its abundantly populated wildlife and rainforests. On our

In April, Star Clipper heads north to sail the brand new

10- and 11-night itineraries roundtrip from Ko Samui

featuring Cambodia, our newest destination. Cambodian

ports of call include the island of Koh Rong, a wildlife paradise

boasting dense forests and white beaches where guests

can join a boat excursion or jungle walk. In Sihanoukville,

a trendy coastal city known for its uninterrupted beaches

and freshly caught seafood, guests will get a taste of

a more cosmopolitan side of Cambodia. An optional,

two-day excursion to visit the temple complex of Angkor

Wat in Siem Reap rounds out the Cambodia experience.

Starting in June, Star Clipper will explore Indonesia, known

Indonesian archipelago, providing a vibrant mix of culture

and natural beauty including the dramatic volcanic scenery

at Mount Bromo, the crater lake of Satonda, Borobudur

Temple at Semarang, Retenggaro village on Sumba Island,

and the beautiful corals and sandy beaches of the Gili Islands.

In September, Star Clipper heads to Borneo for a 10- and

an 11- night sailing between Singapore and Kota Kinabalu,

the capital of Malaysia’s Sabah state in the northern part of

the island of Borneo. In Kota Kinabalu, wander through the

bustling markets and modern boardwalks or check out the

budding arts and music scene. The city also serves as the

gateway to Kinabalu National Park where Mount Kinabalu

stands at 13,400 feet, Malaysia’s tallest peak. Other highlights

include Bandar Seri Begawan, home to the world’s largest

water village, and a visit to the breathtaking, uninhabited

island of Pulau Tiga.

This saving is combinable with Advance Purchase Rate and is valid for all categories except guaranteed single. Back-to-back savings will not apply to third passenger and children rates.

CHILDREN’S RATESChildren’s savings may be available for children under 18 years, when traveling with a full-paying adult on certain selected sailings and subject

RIGHTS RESERVED & LIMITS OF LIABILITYThe transportation of passengers and baggage is governed by the terms and conditions of the Contract of Carriage contained in the cruise ticket. The passenger’s acceptance of the ticket contract and acceptance of passage on the vessel constitutes acceptance of the terms, conditions and information contained in this document and the cruise ticket. It is recommended that you read the terms carefully. Star Clippers, Ltd. reserves the right at its sole option and discretion and that of the Captain of the ship without liability for damages or refund of any kind to deviate from the ship’s advertised or ordinary itinerary or route, to delay, advance or cancel any sailing, to omit or change ports of call and may, but is not obliged to, arrange for

As a convenience to our passengers, Star Clippers Americas may sell tickets for shore excursions or arrange other services which are operated by independent contractors, but neither Star Clippers, Ltd. nor Star Clippers Americas shall be responsible in any way whatsoever for any damage, loss, injury or death arising in conjunction with the services provided by these independent contractors.

FUEL SURCHARGE

Clippers reserves the right to impose a fuel surcharge, without prior notice, on all guests if the price of Oil according to the NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange Index) exceeds USD $80 per barrel of oil. The fuel surcharge for guests should not be more than $10 per guest per day. No right of cancellation exists under any circumstance due to the charging of fuel surcharges.

ADMINISTRATIVE FEECertain changes made to a reservation within 60 days of departure will result in a fee of $50 per person. In addition, any costs incurred for changes in land and/or air arrangements will be the responsibility of the passenger.
