Paget Equipment, located at 417 East 29th Street in Marshfield, primarily manufactures stain-less steel equipment for industrial plants, however, they also manufacture some duplex material along with high nickel alloys. Congratulations, Jim Reigel and employees!

What is the SNAP challenge? The Challenge asks individuals and groups to commit to living on the Wisconsin SNAP allotment of $1.30 per person per meal for the determined time frame of the Challenge, and to share with others their experiences.

Why do the SNAP challenge? The SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Challenge gives participants a view of the struggle to obtain adequate food that is faced by millions of low-income Americans. By living on the average food stamp benefit, Challenge participants find themselves forced to make food shopping choices on a limited budget, and learn how difficult it is to avoid hunger, afford nutritious foods, and stay healthy without adequate resources. While living on a food stamp budget for just five days cannot come close to the struggles encountered by low-income families week after week and month after month, it does provide those who take the Challenge with a new perspective and greater understanding.
