The children do not attend school on this day so please make alternative arrangements for their care. The staff will be at school all day working with Clinical Psychologist, Andrew Fuller all morning and completing their annual First Aid training in the afternoon. Facilities Upgrade UPDATE! Its all happening! The progress on our buildings upgrade may not look spectacular from the outside but inside is a different story! The walls and joinery in the 4 classrooms are basically gone as are the gable at the western end of the building and most of the roof for the under-cover area. The toilet blocks have had all the linings removed and the toilets are soon to be disconnected. Boundary Fence Gates I want to thank you all for your understanding and sup- port regarding access through the boundary gates. There will definitely be times where you may find the boundary gates locked – particularly over weekends and holidays, as a way of providing extra safety around building or demolition works. When you find locked gates, please do not access the school grounds. Pedestrian Access Between the Toilet Block and the Shed For the time being, we have access to the centre of the school via the oval and the two gates and by the path behind the toilets near the shed – it is this path that fills up with kids and adults from 3.15 – 3.20pm daily. At this stage we can do little to address this congestion so many thanks to all of you who use this path, for your patience and good humour!! Grade Placements 2020 We are currently beginning work on establishing the class lists for 2020. We take a range of information into account when doing this but realize that you may have something youd like us to consider that you feel we may not know. If youd like to provide such information please dont hesitate to do so, in writing, by Monday 18th November. Reminders: We ask that no dogs be brought into the school for drop off and pick up times. We all love our dogs but sometimes they are a little over- whelmed by all the action at those times of the day. Please do not park in the NO PARKING zones at the entrance to Moomba Avenue. No parking in those two sites allows greater vision for drivers at drop off and pick up times so that children and community members using that corner are safer. Also, if you could refrain from tooting horns to say good bye Im sure the neighbors would appreciate it. Please be careful not to park across the drive- ways of our neighbors when dropping off or picking up your children. Have a sensational fortnight! Brad
