The power of the Holy Spirit…
2. ________________ me to live a new life. But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit
if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.
- Romans 8:9-10 (NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this
same Spirit living within you. - Romans 8:11 (NLT)

“If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95 percent of what we do would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit
had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95 percent of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference.”
- AW Tozer
The power of the Holy Spirit…
1. Fills my mind with the __________ of God.
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
- Romans 8:6 (NLT)
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
- Romans 5:1 (NLT)
