Blayney High Bulletin - Issue 7 Term 2- Week 3 17 May 2019
Sentral
We hope you are finding our Sentral Parent Portal to be useful. We are still very much in the learning phase for the finer points of what Sentral can do for us and more features will be open soon. In particular, look out for assessment dates to be added to the calendar and the Markbook section to be opened to allow you to see your
child's results on their assessments.
Mid-Course HSC Reports
Our first round of reports is currently being written and we are on schedule to have these completed and posted in the same timeframe as previous years. We will be doing everything we can to ensure we meet this internal deadline and assuming our initial step of reports in Sentral runs smoothly these reports will be out in the next few weeks. When complete, reports will be made available in the
Sentral Portal on the same day they are posted.
HEAD LICE WARNING We have had a reported case of Head Lice in the school. Would you check your child’s hair tonight and if the child has an infestation, please treat it before your child returns to school. We request that girls shoulder length hair be tied back and that you also wash all bed linen, clothes, towels combs, brushes and hair accessories and hats. It is also necessary to vacuum thoroughly. If we work together on this issue we can solve the problem .Please also note that Blayney High School policy is to send your child home if head lice are discovered. By now, as you read this note, you will probably start scratching so it is advisable for the whole family to be treated as well.
