The purpose of this position is to provide support to an exciting project that involves the design, development and evaluation of a digital mental health program for reducing depression and anxiety in adults. The role will be responsible for assisting with the creation of a novel intervention that is effective, sustainable and scalable for use in a range of clinical settings. The project officer will work closely with the Senior Clinical Research Manager, whilst also working with the broader project team, and e-Mental health team across the Discovery and Innovation portfolio.

3.1 Project Activities

• Assist with preparation and monitoring of project plans, budgets and timelines • Support consultation with people with Lived Experience and Health Professionals • Contribute to the creation and review of program content and design • Assist with IT tasks such as user-testing prior to launch of program • Assist with knowledge translation and marketing activities • Perform other project management and administrative tasks as required

3.2 Research Activities

• Assist with ethics applications, amendments and queries from the ethics board • Maintain archive of ethics forms and documents • Undertake and prepare literature reviews for reports and research publications • Assist with data management, coding and analysis • Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and presentations • Assist with preparation of grant applications and submissions • Perform other general research and administrative tasks as required

3.3 Stakeholder Communication

• Assist with organisation and running of internal and external stakeholder meetings • Assist with preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholder meetings • Liase with internal and external stakeholders to provide progress reports, funding

reports and dissemininate project findings • Facilitate communication and manage relations between the project team, other areas

of the organisation and key stakeholder groups 3.4 Work, Health and Safety

Essential Criteria

1. Postgraduate qualification in psychology, public health or a related discipline 2. A minimum of three (3) years recent experience in a mental health research setting 3. Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate effective

time management and adapt to changing priorities to ensure outcomes are delivered 4. Demonstrated experience undertaking literature searches and reviews 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated strong capability of

preparing research and project reports 6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of internal and

external stakeholders to build collaborative relationships 7. The capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility

and initiative to complete own project tasks with minimal supervision 8. Demonstrative ability of building and maintaining productive working relationships Desirable Criteria

1. Experience in not for profit sector 2. Experience in mental health service field 3. Experience in digital mental health field 4. Experience in project management 5.
