1. Plant propagation was developed to by mass duplication of seed to produce a guaranteed seed quality.2. To provide plants materials, propagation of the potato plant as well as has been developed through tissue culture3. Plantlet derived later reproduced by an in-situ through cut stem in a glass housesBACK GROUNDThe main factors to the success of the original cuttings : in vitro in shaped root of some potato cultivars depend on the environment, e.g: the combination of optimum temperature, the relative humidity, light as well as the medium where the plants are growing.

Growth medium for cut plants is absolutely influence the growth of roots, which is presenting and affecting the development of the tuber.

Therefore, to study deeply on the composition of growth medium cut plant is very important.Problems / Open Question The Aim of the researchTo obtain the composition of medium on growth cut potato plantlet for their developmentThere are composition of medium for cut plants will have the different influence to the growth and development of the potato plantlets. Stereoform box for planting The research will use the Randomaized Block Design (RBD)consist of 9 (nine) treatments of medium;

K1: SoilK2: Charcoal chaffK3: Charcoal chaff + soil K4: CocopeatK5: Cocopeat + soilK6: Topsoil K7: Topsoil + soilK8: Chicken manureK9: Chicken manure + soil

Every treatment will be repeated on three times.METHODS8The research will be conducted at field research of Faculty of Agriculture in Cangar, on March July 2014PLACE AND TIME91. The observation will be conducted involve : - non destructive and harvest.2. Observation non destructive will be performed on the cuttings in stereo foam on plants with age : 14, 21, and 28 DAP (day after planting)

Meanwhile the variables will be measured on:

1. The percentage of cut plants growth 2. Height of plant3. Number of leaves4. Length of shoots, and5. Diameter of stemOBSERVATIONFurther observation will be conducted on plants which have been transplanted to the screen house.

The measurement by non destructive plants with age 44, 58, 72, and 86 DAP (day after planting) involve : The percentage of dead plants Length of plant Number of leaves Plant harvest (once) at 120 DAP which are every treatment will be observed on :Total fresh weight of harvestWeight fresh of tuber per plantsThe number of tuber per plantThe number of tuber based on weight tubers

OBSERVATIONThe results of the data will be obtained and analyzed using Analysis of Variance (F test ) at the level of 5%.

The test results will be continued by BNT at the 5% level if there are the effect of the treatments ANALYSIS
