Your task is to design three complementary research studies in order to explore the medical importance of the SNP Study 1. A confirmative human study of your preliminary findings that is population based (~5000 individuals).

Study 2. An individually based human study consisting of ~50 individuals that could test whether drugs could influence the degree of hepatosteatosis depending on the SNP in gene X Study 3. Design and describe an in vitro study that will investigate the putative underlying molecular mechanisms using commercially available cell lines
