On 26th January 2017, The National Festival 68th Republic Day was

celebrated in the campus of Lords Institute of Engineering and

Technology. The National event was attended by all the Governing Bodies,

Honorable Chairman Mr. CA Basha Mohiuddin, Honorable Secretary Mrs.

Rizwana Begum, Vice- Chairman Mr. Touseef Ahmed, Principal Dr. S.

Altaf Hussain, All Head of the Departments, All Teaching and Non-

Teaching staff and the students.

The National Flag was hoisted by our Honorable chairman Mr.CA

Basha Mohiuddin.

Events conducted on Republic Day:

Speech on Importance of Republic Day by Honorable Chairman Mr. CA

Basha Mohiuddin.

Speech in Urdu on Republic day importance by civil 2nd year student

Taj.

Demo on Judo, karate and self-defense by Mechanical third year

students and Physical Director of Lords Institute of Engineering and

Technology.

Award distribution for the faculty and students for their excellence of

work in academics as well as sports.

Speech by Principal Dr. S. Altaf Hussain on the academic achievements

in the current academic year.

Alumni Meet 2017

On 12th April 2017 Final Year Students farewell

and Alumni Meet- 2017 was conducted by the Department

of ECE. All the Governing bodies, Honorable Chairman

Mr. CA Basha Mohiuddin, Honorable Secretary Mrs.

Rizwana Begum, Vice- Chairman Mr. Touseef Ahmed,

Principal Dr. S. Altaf Hussain, have attended the Alumni

meet and motivated, encouraged the final year students

how to face real world and build their individual career.

They also congratulated the students Ms. Varsha Devi, Ms.

Anchala Baid, Ms. Roja Peter for getting placed in the

Sans Pareil IT Services Limited, Chennai.

They also Awarded Mr. Jawwad Patel (ECE

Student) with best innovator award for the Dew Drop

patent named on him.

It was also a great achievement for the

Department of ECE , as the student like Jawwad Patel has

not only developed various projects , as well as motivated

many students to focus on Research. His Technical

Knowledge and his dedication towards research oriented

work encouraged and motivated many students not only to

focus on research but also imparted the concept to learn

and earn in every professional.

Insignia (Annual Day) 2017

On 13th April 2017 Annual Day of Lords Institute

of Engineering and Technology was celebrated grandly in

the Lords Campus. The Guest of honor Mr. Jaffer

Hussain Meraj (AIMIM MLA, Nampally, Hyderabad)

attended the Insignia-2017. All the Governing bodies,

Honorable Chairman Mr. CA Basha Mohiuddin,

Honorable Secretary Mrs. Rizwana Begum, Vice-

Chairman Mr. Touseef Ahmed, Principal Dr. S. Altaf

Hussain, have joined the Annual Day Celebrations.

All the Students have actively participated in the

annual day celebrations. The Guest of honor Mr. Jaffer

Hussain Meraj (AIMIM MLA, Nampally, Hyderabad)

addressed the gathering with the motivational speech.

He also appraised the ECE Department research

oriented work done by Mr. Jawwad Patel (ECE Student) on

Smart Helmet to avoid accidents. He also applauded the

students for their performance on various cultural activities

performed by the students on Annual day.

There were also motivational speeches from the

governing bodies of Lords Institute of Engineering and

Technology.

To provide a basic information about

importance of research.

To motivate the faculty for participating in

research work.

To provide information about research

To motivate faculty about the learn and earn

process.

To improve the quality of research by faculty

Research Development Program (RDP)

Research:

Research is a process of steps used to collect and

analyze information to increase our understanding of a topic

or issue. Education is not the learning of facts, but training

to think.

If the faculty is trained to research, their teaching

can train the students to learn and think.

One day Research Development program on

“Research requirements in science and Technology”,was

conducted on 24th October 2016 in the department of ECE,

LIET. The lecture on the “Research requirements in science

and Technology” was given by Dr. S. V. Satyanarayana

(Director of R&D) JNTUA.

Faculty of all the departments actively participated in the

research oriented program.

Achievement

Mr.SV Altaf, was awarded with best faculty in the

Department of ECE, for his excellence in his teaching

and imparting knowledge and making student excel in

his academics.

Mr. G. Parameshwar was awarded with the best

governance award, for his excellent working Central

activities.

by ECE final year student JawwadPatel.

Dewdrop is the Asia's First 3d Printed Intuitive Self

Filing Water Apparatus Which Produces Literally

Potable Water.

Mr. Shahinur Islam and Mr. Yousuf had won the

best project award attended at Royal Institute of

Technical Sciences.

Mr. Shahinur Islam final year, Mr. Parvez Raza

Third year student received the best academic

performance award from ECE Department.

Activities Completed

Comprehensive Viva successfully completed in the

month of April 2017.

Technical seminar successfully completed in the

month of April 2017.

B.Tech 4th year Major Project Viva-voce successfully

completed in the month of April 2017.

Departmental Activities

Mr.AbdulWasayMudasser was promoted as Head

of the Department of ECE.

Mr. G. Parameshwar was promoted to Director

Documentation.

Mentoring System for all the students is being

implemented to improve student punctuality and

academic performance.

NBA (National Board of Accreditation) all criterions

of ECE Department are in progress.

M.Tech and B.Tech projects of students were

completed successfully.

Paper publications were done by students and

Faculty of ECE Department in Various national and

international Journals.

B.Tech mini projects of students were completed

successfully.

Project Exhibition conducted by Royal Institute of

Technical Sciences was attended by ECE Final year

Students.

Mrs. Jeevan Jyothi and Mr. Abhinay Suggala

were appointed as Assistant professor in ECE

Department.

Departmental Events

Research development Program on “Research

requirements in Science and Technology” Was

successfully conducted.

Republic Day was celebrated in Lords Institute of

Engineering and Technology.

Two-day Sports Event was conducted for faculty, in

view of this event all the faculty participated.

Farewell for Final year Students and Alumni Meet

was conducted successfully.

Annual Day 2017 was celebrated grandly in Lords

Institute of Engineering and Technology.
