PRODUCT SELECTIONThe safety of any hose assembly rests on the proper selection, installation, testing and use of each product. The safe use of any product in this catalog is dependent upon the correct selection of the hose, fittings and method of attachment. Some couplings are not suitable for use with some types of hose. Careful attention must also be given to the proper sizing of the hose and coupling combination. Theselection of couplings is the responsibility of the purchaser or user, based upon the hose manufacturer’s recommendations. You must follow the hose manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the suitable hose and coupling combination.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATIONTo achieve a safe and reliable assembly, proper installation procedures must be followed. Each component of the assembly has a part indetermining these procedures. Always use correct size open end wrench for field installation, NEVER A PIPE WRENCH. The purchaseror user must follow proper hose manufacturing approved assembly procedures.

ORDERING INFORMATIONAll hose couplings are made from Zinc (Zemack #3) with Zinc plating.*Optional plating and materials are available by adding the following suffix: Y=Yellow Trivalent Plating; CP=Polished Chrome Plating;C=Chrome Plating; B=Brass (CA3600) Base Alloy with Nickel Plating; CB=Brass (CA3600) Base Alloy with Chrome Plating
