The album, which also debuted in the top slot of Billboard’s Classical Albums chart, contains some of the most popular songs from Celtic Woman’s live shows, along with several previously unrecorded tracks, all with stunning new orchestral arrangements recorded with the 72-piece Orchestra of Ireland. Meanwhile, Celtic Woman’s other 2016 release, Destiny, has been nominated for a Grammy® Award in the category of Best World Music Album. This marks the group’s first-ever Grammy nomination. Available in digital and CD formats as well as a special Target exclusive CD featur-ing two special bonus tracks, the 18-song Voices of Angels features songs that span Celtic Woman’s storied career, including “Isle of

Hope, Isle of Tears,” “As She Moved Through The Fair” and “Mo Ghile Mear (My Gallant Star),” alongside such traditional classics as “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria,” “Joy to the World” and “Silent Night.” Recorded with the guidance of new musical director Gavin Murphy, Voices of Angels also introduces six new songs, including the beloved film themes “My Heart Will Go On” (from Titanic), “For The Love of A Princess” (from Braveheart) and “A Time For Us” (from the clas-sic 1969 version of Romeo and Juliet) and the Christmas classic “Once in Royal David’s City.” Celtic Woman is comprised of four young Irish women—dynamic vocalists Susan McFadden, Mairéad Carlin and Éabha McMahon and the group’s newest member, gifted violinist Tara McNeill—whose perform-ing skills bring centuries of musical and cultural tradition to life.
