SEE regional transport cooperation
The main objectives of the SEETO cooperation:
– Develop the SEETO Comprehensive Network;– Improve and harmonise regional transport policies
and technical standards for the SEETO Comprehensive Network development;
– Maintain an effective coordination and communication network;
– Integrate the SEETO Comprehensive Network in the framework of the wider Trans European Network.

€13.2 billion total investments in the SEETO Comprehensive Network since 2004;
€4 billion ongoing/finance secured investments
€9.2 billion of implemented investments in more than 300 infrastructure projects on the SEETO Comprehensive Network;
– 83% of investments went into the road sector;
– 10 % (€ 920 million) share of railway investments.
