El establecimiento de prioridades para la ejecución de las actividades relativas a este reto viene determinado por la necesidad de reforzar la dimensión europea de la investigación e innovación en materia energética. Un objetivo fundamental será apoyar la ejecución de la agenda de investigación e innovación del Plan Estratégico Europeo de Tecnología Energética (Plan EETE)[1] con el fin de lograr los objetivos de política energética y de cambio climático de la Unión. Por consiguiente, la hoja de ruta y los planes de ejecución del Plan EETE contribuirán considerablemente a la formulación de los programas de trabajo. La estructura de gobernanza del Plan EETE como tal servirá de principio básico para establecer las prioridades estratégicas y coordinar la investigación energética y la innovación en toda la Unión.

• EIIs podrían convertirse en PPPs • EERA podría pasar a articulo 185 • Paneles de SET Plan (SG, Sherpa, EII Team) definen estrategia.

• Integración de CIP-IEE centrado en comportamientos, percepción pública y solventar barreras no tecnológicas para despliegue de mercado. • Importancia de proyectos demostración y despliegue comercial • Se incluye en este reto las aplicaciones TIC para energía (7 PM ICT, parte del reto 6) así como los pilotos y demostradores correspondientes (CIP-ICT).

Key points: 1. Solutions integratings energy, transport and ICT sector through lighthouse projects

(large scale demonstration-first of the kind)

2. Include INDUSTRY + CITY planning authorities, from 2-3 cities and communities.

3. 2-3 follower cities – contribute to the process through the replication of solutions at the end of the project.

4. The replication plans are compulsory and are part of the evaluation.

5. The cities must improve their energy performance or the share of use of renewables and H&C

6. Activities shall be part of ambitious urban plan.

7. Demonstrate attractive business plans based on already existing city planning.

8. To ensure the required funding from other sources, preferably privates ones, but also other EU funding sources (cohesion or regional funds), national or regional funding.
