I looked up in surprise when the roti canai seller greeted with, “Hello, teacher!” I took a second look at him. Here was a grown, bearded man of about thirty something twirling roti canai dough expertly in the air.

Seeing my surprise, he quickly smiled and explained, “Teacher, you taught me English. I am Rama Nathan from 3A2 at SMK Setia Jaya.”
