Elective Track 1: Four Big Questions of Faith: Basic Apologetics Led by Jason Byars
1 Peter 3:15 instructs us to always be prepared to give a reasonable defense for the hope that is within us. In that
vein, we’ll examine some common challenges to the faith, as well as the philosophical arguments and empirical and historical evidences used to make a reasonable case for the truth of Christianity, particularly in light of opposing beliefs and world–views.
Elective Track 2: Exploring Beliefs About ChristLed by Dr. Charles Qualls
We tout belief “in” Christ, but what do you believe “about” Christ? Have you worked out Christ’s deity yet? How does Salvation or Lordship work in Him? In this group, we’ll explore Jesus’ ministry and nature as Lord and Servant.
Elective Track 3: Baptists: What Makes us DifferentLed by Bob Lamb
Yes, we put people all the way under the water when we Baptize. But is this the thing that makes us most unique among Christians? Come explore 4 key convictions that Baptists have shared for hundreds of years!

Second-Ponce HistoryThe painting, “Spire of Second–Ponce de Leon” is an original watercolor by Henry Lawrence [Hank] Massey. The artist painted it for a wedding program in 1991. The couple married on July 29, 1991 was Leigh Ann Studstill and Edward Freeland Harris. Mr. Massey was a groomsman in their wedding, and gave the artwork as his gift. The painting showcases the grandeur of the Churchsteeple and the urns. Very soon, the urns will return to decorate our beautiful steeple. A copy of the wedding program is in the Heritage Room. Each Sunday in the month of October, the Heritage Room will be open from 9:30–11 a.m. Please come by and see this piece
in our Church. This article and display were put together by Church Historian, John Roma.

The group was founded in October 2005 with the mission of enabling young Kenyans to participate in a high quality musical forum where they can build their careers and expand their knowledge of and interest in the arts. Their vision is to build a strong, well-trained musical community that can promote peace and cross-cultural understanding through quality performance of choral music. Members come from various universities and institutions around Nairobi and are traveling in the Southeast presenting concerts in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
